Toya Sun Palace Resort & Spa Sobetsu, Sobetsu

The mini water park at Toya Sun Palace was a hit with my kids! They loved the wave pool and the long slides, which made for hours of fun. After dinner, we enjoyed a girl band performing outside the lobby, and the kids got to participate in bingo games for just ¥500. It was clear the hotel prioritized family activities, and we had a fantastic time.

The dinner buffet was absolutely fantastic! There was a wide selection ranging from sushi, sashimi, grilled beef, to tempura. Even breakfast was impressive, with plenty of options to satisfy everyone's tastes. I especially loved the variety that kept our dining experience exciting throughout our stay.

The onsen at Toya Sun Palace was a lovely experience! The outdoor baths offered amazing views of Lake Toya, and I felt so relaxed soaking while enjoying the evening fireworks. It truly made for a serene atmosphere, and I found the Japanese baths to be modern and beautifully kept.

We were assigned a modern twin room that overlooked the lake, which was fantastic! The view was perfect for enjoying the evening fireworks. Although the room had some dated elements, the ample space allowed us to relax comfortably. It was great to have both a sitting area and the amazing lake view within our room.
